My Workshop
These pages show some of the sets I am (or have) been working on. Since restarting to restore old radios I have mainly run into problems due to the age of the sets and the poor conditions most seem to have been stored in.
The images above shows a corner of my workshop, and were taken in September 2003,March 2004,November 2005,March 2007 and May 2007. Sets that can be seen include an Ever Ready C/E and an Ever Ready Sky Leader. The chassis at the side of the C/E is a Vidor 396. The radio on the shelf is a later Pilot Maestro. The March 2004 picture shows an Heathkit Mohican GC 1A which had just arrived. The same radio is shown under repair in November 2005. Also in the 2005 picture are a PRC,Codar CR70A and an HAC plus some HAC chassis. In May 2007 the oscilloscope was replaced for a Phillips Dual Beam PM3332.By May 2007 A Codar CR45 had been obtained and it is shown next to the CR70A in this reorganised shot.
The sets currently with a write up are listed below and more to come.
