A Three Transistor Radio Kit from 1962




Peter Roberts kindly sent these pictures of circuit and build instructions for an unmade kit from 1962 which he has acquired.
There are three transistors in the kit, two are surface barrier type (Philco?) and the other an AF transistor (Newmarket?)neither of which are marked in the kit with the type number.
David Rumens (G4BOO) has identified the kit as being sold by Radio & TV Components (Acton) LTD, 23a High Street, Acton, London W3 in 1962.
It was priced at 27/6 plus 2/6 P & P.
